Fire Orders/Project Manager

An excellent opportunity has become available for a dedicated and motivated project manager with a background in managing & estimating fire orders. The successful candidate will manage new and existing projects and lead the fire orders division at CFP, this role forms an important part of our operation and is multi-faceted you will be responsible for the following:

 

Managing the field service processes and ensure staff are resourced to meet the demand of the work out in the field;

  • Drive strategic development of the division to ensure profitable growth moving forward;
  • Ensure job coordination and scheduling for efficient and effective operation;
  • Undertake  quoting and estimating on fire orders and field service work;
  • Ensure all  work is completed within budget and to the customers’ expectations;
  • Maximising team productivity through the efficient allocation of resources;
  • Establishing new customer relationships whilst consolidating and strengthening existing customer relationships;
  • Implement processes for the day to day running of the division;
  • BDM works to grow fire order division.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Broad knowledge  Fire systems, Australian Standards and Building Codes;
  •  3+ years of Project Management or supervisory experience within the Fire Industry;
  • Ability to understand and decipher fire system specifications and technical drawings;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively, both orally and in writing;
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver quality outcomes within budget;
  • Competent leadership, customer service and communication skills;
  • Sound work ethic & commitment to workplace safety.
