Victoria Postforming & Laminating Services Pty Ltd has been operating from the heart of Penrith for over 30 years, we manufacture laminated benchtops and custom laminating projects. We take pride on our high quality work & attention to detail.
We are seeking a enthusiastic & capable machinist or labourer/factory hand on a full-time basis, long-term would be highly preferable. Cabinetmakers, kitchen manufacturers or experience with any kind of laminate processing would be desirable.
Applicants would need to work well autonomously & within a small team.
Tasks & responsibilities (Note these will be varied dependant on skill level of applicant, please don’t be deterred from applying if you have never operated machinery):
- operating woodworking machinery: Beamsaw/ Edgebander/ Press (with possibility to train on CNC)
- Tool changes & set-ups
- Material loading & unloading
- Basic maintenance of machinery
- Hand on tasks in relation to manufacture: filing, lifting etc
- Commitment to work additional hours (if workload requires)
