Job Overview

The purpose of this role is to actively manage the Sales team and support office staff regarding sales related policies and processes. It includes but is not limited to the following tasks:
 
– Maintain the company’s safety standards and make sure they comply with government bodies.

– Create, monitor and meet/exceed sales budgets
– Actively seeking sales for the business and managing relationships to build long term client accounts
– Manage a sign off process that sees all information presented and approved to clients in a timely manner
– Ensure the team correctly translates customer requirements into quote cover sheets
– Monitoring quotes, job register and invoicing – weekly, fortnightly, monthly as required
– Communicating clearly with clients and meeting both their needs as well as the needs of the business – all details complete and accurate for take off
– Ensure team follows up sales leads
– Regularly visit sites and key clients
– Set sales employee goals and objectives and complete performance reviews
– Preparation and analysis of Sales reports- weekly, fortnightly, monthly as required
– Liaise with various industry groups to keep across latest issues / opportunities
 
Experience Required:
 
– Preference for at least 3 – 5 years experience in a similar role
– Business/management principles and practices
– Sales planning – set targets and stretch targets for the team
– Financial / accounting experience
– Manufacturing experience
– Office administrative procedures and computer applications / experience
– Aluminium and timber joinery experience
