Oricom International is a dynamic consumer electronics company, marketing and distributing a diverse range of Oricom branded products, including; UHF CB Radio’s, Baby Care and Telecommunications products.
The Role
We are currently seeking a Product Development Coordinator to support the Product and Marketing Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all phases of the product development cycle from initial concept through to product launch.
Key Responsibilities
• Market/Product Research
• Work with our marketing team to ensure all packaging is in line with brand guidelines
• Liaise with our technical consultant to ensure compliance requirements are met
• Manage Teamwork software with all relevant departments
• Product item setup including logistics information
• Distribute and manage consumer field trial tests
• Sample management
• Prepare Product Definition document for every product and maintain version control
• Develop and maintain product comparisons
• Liaise with our logistics and sales team to ensure on-time delivery
• Schedule team meetings to discuss projects and ideas
• Preparation of product launch submissions
• Developing and maintaining processes and procedures
Required Skills
• Must have excellent attention to detail while multi-tasking across multiple projects
• Ability to prioritise and meet essential deadlines
• Efficient time management skills
• Solid PC and MS Office suite skills
• The ability to work in a small, vibrant team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive attitude
• Ability to work autonomously and to achieve KPIs within time frames
• Must work well under pressure
